HISINGY was founded in 2021 by Zinan Zhang. Guided by the vision of “bringing everyone into the future world through cross-disciplinary and innovative tech-style toys,” HISINGY is committed to becoming a leading global brand in drone technology and lifestyle entertainment. Its core slogan, “The Journey of Flight Begins Here,” reflects the brand’s mission to spark interest in flying, inspire a spirit of exploration, and empower users to embark on their own flight experiences.

HISINGY is building a highly integrated business ecosystem composed of hardware products, a gamified app, an original IP universe, an educational system, and competitive events.
The brand’s product lineup focuses on FPV (First-Person View) drones—also known as “racing drones”—and toy drones. Most models are designed without GPS and optimized for indoor use, delivering a purely playful experience. At the same time, great emphasis is placed on industrial design and aesthetics, allowing players to enjoy drones that are both visually stunning and excellent to fly.

Guided by the belief that “the sky has no boundaries—flying belongs to everyone,” HISINGY introduces a series of innovative tech-style drones, including customizable mini drones, toy drones, and FPV racing models. With intuitive control and user-friendly design, anyone can master flight and start flying within just three minutes.

Each product integrates an original IP storyline, a wide range of DIY customization parts, and a deeply connected gamified app. Every detail—from hardware structure to software experience—is crafted to create a truly unique sense of flight.

In addition, HISINGY has developed a dual-track competition system combining official and commercial events, turning drone flight into a shared and exciting cultural phenomenon.

In 2015, the Beijing TCKFPV Drone Club (Team Cockatoo) was founded. It was one of the earliest organizations in China to engage in FPV (First-Person View) drone racing, events, product development, and operations.
IIn 2018, TCKFPV core members Zhang Zinan, Ye Wentao, Wang Zhen, Hou Guancheng, and others jointly founded Cockatoo & Friends Co., Ltd.

In 2019, the team ranked among the Top 10 nationwide in the Startup Category of the 4th China Aviation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, organized by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
In August 2021, the consumer tech-style drone brand “HISINGY” was officially established.
In 2022, the company completed a multi-million-dollar seed funding round, led by Zhencheng Investment, with participation from Huofeng Capital and Goertek.
On November 1, 2022, HISINGY held its “Dialogue Between Tradition and the Future” — STARGAZER New Product Launch Event at the Fujian Hua’an Tulou, where it officially unveiled its first drone kit. The product went on to win the 2022 Red Dot Design Award. During the event, HISINGY also introduced China’s first mobile drone app integrating flight parameter configuration, achievement system, and DIY hangar — the HISINGY App.

In 2023, HISINGY completed the R&D and mass production of a new series of drone kits, advanced its educational program development, and began expanding into new consumer scenarios such as family activities, camping, tourism, and vacation experiences. The brand also made significant progress in entering traditional offline toy retail channels, including domestic and international toy chains, airports, and shopping malls.

In 2024, the company secured Angel+ round financing and continued the development and production of new product series.

In March 2023, HISINGY launched the “EXPLORE BLAZER”, an FPV educational drone designed specifically for the HISINGY Lab STEAM drone education program. The EXPLORE BLAZER integrates self-developed flight algorithms, an embedded intelligent backend system, domestic chip architecture, and first-person-view (FPV) control, making it a purpose-built FPV drone for education and training.

In April 2023, the company won First Place Nationwide in the Startup Category of the 7th China Aviation Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, hosted by the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and officially launched the “HISINGY Lab” Drone STEAM Education Store Authorization Program.

In June 2023, the HISINGY App 2.0 was released, introducing an upgraded flight firmware and parameter adjustment features. During the same month, the first “HISINGY TimeStorm Flight Carnival” was held in Beijing, welcoming over 4,000 young participants to experience the excitement of drone technology and flying entertainment.

In August 2023, the company began participating as a collaborative partner of the Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Beijing Aeronautical Society in the National Youth Drone Competition, a Ministry of Education–recognized whitelist event.

In January 2024, HISINGY released the “SUNRAY FPV Drone”, equipped with a newly developed 4K aerial camera capable of high-definition recording during flight.

In March 2024, the HISINGY App 3.0 was launched, introducing a new flight firmware that delivered a more refined and powerful flying experience, along with expanded achievement systems linked to the brand’s IP universe.

In May 2024, the first “HISINGY Grand Prix” was held in Beijing, accompanied by the debut of a professional competition management system designed specifically for the event.

In October 2024, HISINGY unveiled two new drone models — the “FIREFLY FPV” and the “FIREFLY EX” — representing both toy and FPV (racing) configurations. These models achieved a new breakthrough in modular design and user accessibility.

By December 2024, the HISINGY Lab Drone STEAM Education Program had established 14 stores across major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Dalian, Fuzhou, Shijiazhuang, and Changchun, marking a significant milestone in its nationwide educational expansion.

In April 2025, HISINGY signed a partnership agreement with the ROBOTEX World Robot Conference, officially becoming a recommended competition equipment provider for the event. Participants can use various HISINGY World drone models to compete in international-level tournaments, with top performers gaining opportunities to represent China abroad for global exchanges.

In May 2025, HISINGY launched the “MACH 500” toy drone — an entry-level quadcopter designed without FPV (First-Person View) functionality. Featuring a spaceship-inspired exterior, a pilot-themed character design, and an affordable price point, the MACH 500 makes drone flying more accessible to beginners, further lowering the barrier to entry for new users.
